Alpaca Heather Rambla Yoke Sweater Pattern

Alpaca Heather is Manos del Uruguay’s newest yarn and sure to become a fast favourite among our staff and customers. It is a sport weight (6ply) blend of 70% wool and 30% alpaca in both 100gm skeins of three natural undyed colours and 50gm skeins of rich, classic colours. Producing it this way makes it ideal for colourwork projects without having too much leftover of your contrasting colours. All shades of Alpaca Heather begin with a mélange of raw wool and three natural tones of alpaca: one reddish brown, one taupe, and one black. This gives the heathered look and makes for a really timeless, natural looking yarn. The construction of the yarn is two-ply, which gives it sturdiness and allows for perfect stranded colourwork melding.

Rambla Knitting Pattern

Manos has published a beautiful top down colourwork yoke sweater pattern featuring Alpaca Heather, Rambla, designed by Marcela Chang Knits. It is perfect for those new to colourwork knitting or as a relaxation knit for those more experienced.
